Hey there people and Happy Saturday to you!! I hope you are having a wonderful time, wherever in the world you may be.
I have had a productive and at the same time relaxed week, with visits and shopping and chores and also a whole lot of firsts! I have decided, this week it's the firsts I am grateful for!!
73. My new (to me anyway) sewing machine!! My mum loaned it to me and I have already made this:
74. MHI installed Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to my little netbook. I already had a good play about with photoshop, but hadn't yet tried out Illustrator. Here's my tentative first step into the illustrator world:
Mountains - obviously (?!)
75. I learned to use my webcam to take photos. Which explains the photo of me and my bow (enhanced by PicMonkey). It also explains some of these slightly silly out-take style photos:
76. My new glasses!! I posted about needing glasses for the first time here. They have worked out really well in the end - the first couple of days I felt a bit headachey and weird but now I am used to them I have had much less tired eyes each day, which is awesome!! You can see them in all their glory in the above pics - cute little glasses with red roses on.
So, those little firsts and mini-milestones I am grateful for. There will be a further first this week on A Cat-Like Curiosity. I will be hosting my first ever giveaway that isn't something I made!! Hi Sarah! I'm now following you many different ways: FB, GFC, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest! Thanks for popping in at Amanda's Books and More. I see that you are a very creative person. I also saw you recently began an Etsy blog hop. I don't do Etsy, but I thought to pass on a tip on how to get the word out (you might know it already, but I've only just figured it out myself)... when you press the share button and just before you send it to Google+, just tick the box to email it and customize who will get the post emailed to them (I would include followers). I hope this helps!

Great post, love your 52 weeks of grateful! It is good to remember to be grateful for the things in our lives... Big and small! Your new glasses look great, and I love your little bow.
