Lately ....

The happy shelter of home.

Hey there people and Happy Sunday to you!! I have been having a creative few days, carrying on with my week of creative achievements by sewing more pretty bows and continuing to experiment with Illustrator.

Here are some sketches I have been working on both in Illustrator and on a free site called Scribbler. If you haven't tried it - you definitely should! You don't always create quite what you expect to create, but what you do create is something quite special.

I follow a blog called The Sketchbook Challenge - and the challenge for August is "Shelter". I'm not sure if I'll submit anything this time (you can check out previous entries here.)

Here's what I have come up with so far:

Country cottage shelter.

 In the shelter of trees.

Sad shelter.

I am really enjoying playing with new digital ways of creating art, but I think I am neglecting my physical artwork these days. The trouble is, there are just so many things I want to do and only so many hours in the day. I want to spend time writing, sewing, blogging, creating art, exercising, reading - the list goes on almost forever! Still, much better to have so much to do and not enough time than to be sitting twiddling my thumbs with nothing to do at all!

What have you been enjoying lately? I'd love to know.

Have a great day people!!

ps. Don't forget to come back tomorrow and link up all things inspirational!

Just stopped by for a visit! I am in awe of creative, busy people. You are amazing. (And, for the record, it's better to wear out than rust out! Busy is best!) Cheers!

Your illustrations look great!
I'm the same way...so much to do and so little time! But being busy is great :)
