Monday Mantras: THE Linkup For All Things Inspirational

Grab a button and link up below!!

Hey there people and Happy Monday to you!! I hope you've had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to a happy week!. It's time for my round up of all things inspirational this week plus some inspiring quotes, just for you.

As we have entered into a brand new year I thought I'd change a few things around for this little linkup of mine. With those changes came a spanking new button (I couldn't resist!) I have had quite a number of linkers here at ACLC and I am grateful for each and every one of you! I don't want to change the linkup altogether, but I do want to change focus a little over the coming weeks.

My aim here at ACLC is to inspire others - to be an inspiration. To share with others my experiences and ideas so that we can all grow together and achieve our dreams, whatever they may be.

This is why I wanted to share more of what inspires me with you lovelies, here on the blog.

As I have mentioned before in various posts, I have been eagerly awaiting my Leonie Dawson "Create Your Incredible Life" workbooks. Well, they have arrived, I have printed them off and begun my journey. And boy am I glad that I have!

I have only completed the first few pages of the Life edition of the workbooks (I bought both the Life and Business editions) but I am already feeling positive and excited for what 2013 might bring.

I wanted to share with you a little of the processes as I go through them with these lovely workbooks. I hope it will inspire you to plan for your best year ever too!

The very first part of the workbook deals with performing a 2012 closing ceremony. Leonie suggests that a big part of the reason people's resolutions don't work out is that they haven't really dealt with or come to terms with the previous year properly. She asks that we focus on our achievements and feelings from 2012 in order that we can move into 2013 ready to achieve and succeed.

I loved also that Leonie allowed a section for ranting! There are always things that we convince ourselves are "OK really, just fine." We are so focused on thinking positively, trying not to let our belief in ourselves to waver at all that we don't always acknowledge the need to confront these disappointments and feel the emotions that go with them.

One of the most powerful exercises for me was Th Completion Circle, which you can see above. I touched the center of the circle and said the words Leonie laid down for me and felt a little shift in my consciousness and an opening within myself. My favourite phrase from the completion circle is this one:

"We open up to the beautiful possibilities blossoming before us."

Here's looking forward to a wonderful 2013 where I am a successful artist and blogger who is truly happy in my own skin.

Each week I will highlight a source of inspiration to me. It may be a source of inspiration for day to day life, for my art or for any other aspect of my life. I really hope these will inspire you too!

This week's featured source is the lovely Carolyn at A Beautiful Ripple Effect. Her blog is chock full of inspiration pretty much all year round. But each December and January she provides that little bit extra inspiration with her Reverb project.

I completed her Reverb project last year and it really opened my eyes to various thoughts and feelings I had but couldn't quite identify in my own mind.

For anyone looking to connect with a like-minded community and find out more about their own inner workings I would whole heartedly recommend this project to you.

Here are some more inspiring links for you to get your teeth into too :)

Now it's your turn - link up all things inspirational below. Let's spread some lovely inspirational, light and love around the blogosphere!

Have a great Monday people!

First, love your new button! Second, those workbooks look really cool and you seem to be getting so much out of them. What a great way to start the New Year, Sarah! Third, I hope my "inspiration" this week isn't too out there for some. I do find the "subject matter" inspiring to me, though! And, fourth, Happy New Year, Sarah!
